Native English Teacher

Full-time | Hong Kong | 5-day week

About the Role

A role with real purpose and real standards

At Babington, our teachers are artisans. We are skilled experts at our craft and fiercely proud of what we can achieve in and out of the classroom. You will not just be delivering lessons — you will be transforming children's relationship with the English language, one student at a time.

We teach children aged 3–12, using our proprietary curriculum and Oxford's Read Write Inc. (RWI) phonics programme. All our teachers are officially trained, certified, and accredited to teach our programmes. If you are passionate, charismatic, and love children, we want to hear from you.

What We Desire

At Babington, we hire for CHARACTER and PERSONALITY over experience and qualifications.

Essential Requirements

Bachelor's degree (or Associate Degree / Higher Diploma equivalent)

TESOL/TEFL certificate (minimum 100 hours) — required for Hong Kong visa

Native or near-native English proficiency with a neutral accent

Excellent spoken, written and grammar skills

The Babington Character

Loves working with children aged 3–12

Charismatic, fun, energetic and bubbly

Positive, can-do attitude — a problem solver, not a problem raiser
