About the Role

A role with real purpose and real standards

The Training & Curriculum Supervisor is a Head Office role responsible for the quality and consistency of teaching across the entire Babington network. You will design and deliver training programmes, develop and update our curriculum resources, and work directly with teachers and Centre Managers to ensure every Babington student receives a world-class English education.

What We're Looking For

This role suits someone who can combine educational depth with practical quality control across multiple centres.

Essential Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Education, English, Applied Linguistics or related field (Master's preferred)

Minimum 3 years of teaching experience in ELT (English Language Teaching)

Experience in curriculum design, training, or teacher development

Strong familiarity with synthetic phonics and/or ELT methodologies

RWI certification or experience with phonics programmes advantageous

The Right Personality

Passionate about educational quality and teacher development

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

Strong presentation and facilitation skills

Analytical — able to assess teaching quality and identify gaps

Self-motivated, organised, and comfortable working independently

Roles & Responsibilities

What you will be responsible for

Design, update and manage Babington's curriculum materials

Develop and deliver teacher training programmes (initial and ongoing)

Conduct classroom observations and quality audits across centres

Produce training materials, lesson plan templates and teaching guides

Support Centre Managers with teacher performance development

Analyse student outcome data to inform curriculum improvements

Keep abreast of ELT trends and incorporate best practices

Manage RWI/phonics training and Oxford certification processes
