The United Nations Youth Ambassador English Competition may include an exam format in front of one or more judges. Students read a short passage and answer questions based on it, with scoring focused on English accuracy, voice and the quality of their responses.
Depending on the level, students may choose a passage, be assigned a passage, or respond to a writing prompt before reading and discussing it.

Each lesson builds both content knowledge and speaking ability, helping students move beyond simple answers and express their ideas with clarity and depth. Through carefully designed practice tasks, students gain confidence to read aloud fluently and answer unseen questions just like they will in the competition.
Topic Learning
Students learn about important ESG topics that may appear in the exam, with a focus on understanding how and why these issues matter.
Key Vocabulary Development
Topic-specific vocabulary is taught in context, then checked and reinforced through short exercises.
Reading & Understanding
Students work through a factual reading passage to deepen knowledge and practise comprehension and explanation skills.
Competition Practice
Students read aloud and answer challenging verbal questions in the same style as the competition exam.
