Terms and Conditions
These terms and conditions govern the joint promotion between Babington Education Organisation Ltd and Rugbytots Hong Kong Ltd. By participating in this promotion, the parent or legal guardian confirms that they have read, understood and agreed to these terms and conditions.
1. Definitions
1.1 “BE” means Babington Education Organisation Ltd, the operator of English learning centres in Hong Kong under the brand name “Babington Education”.
1.2 “RT” means Rugbytots Hong Kong Ltd, an independent company providing Rugbytots and Rugbystars classes for children in Hong Kong.
1.3 “Promotion” means the joint promotional offer under which an eligible BE student may receive:
one complimentary RT trial class; and
one HK$500 credit towards eligible Rugbytots or Rugbystars classes,
in each case subject to these terms and conditions.
1.4 “RT Credit” means the HK$500 promotional credit referred to in clause 3.
2. Promotion Period
2.1 The Promotion is valid from 23 September 2026 to 31 October 2026, both dates inclusive (“Promotion Period”).
2.2 All trial classes must be booked and attended, and all RT Credit must be redeemed, on or before 31 October 2026.
2.3 Any unused trial-class entitlement or RT Credit will automatically expire after 31 October 2026. No extension, replacement, refund, cash alternative, carry-forward amount or other compensation will be provided.
3. Eligibility and Entitlement
3.1 The Promotion is available to children who:
are aged between 2 and 7 years old;
are enrolled as students with BE; and
present a valid BE receipt dated during the Promotion Period.
3.2 The Promotion is available to both new and existing BE students, provided that the parent or legal guardian can present a valid BE receipt dated from 23 September 2026 to 31 October 2026, both dates inclusive.
3.3 Each eligible child is entitled to receive, once only:
one complimentary RT trial class; and
one RT Credit with a value of HK$500.
3.4 The entitlement is limited to one Promotion per child, regardless of the number of BE receipts, BE courses, BE payments, family members or transactions.
3.5 BE and/or RT may request a valid BE receipt and other reasonable information or documentation to verify eligibility before allowing redemption of the Promotion.
4. Trial Class and RT Credit
4.1 The complimentary RT trial class must be booked directly with RT and attended no later than 31 October 2026.
4.2 The RT Credit has a value of HK$500 and may be used only towards the cost of Rugbytots or Rugbystars classes.
4.3 The RT Credit must be redeemed directly with RT on or before 31 October 2026.
4.4 The RT Credit:
is non-transferable;
may not be sold, exchanged, refunded or redeemed for cash;
may not be used towards BE tuition fees, BE products or BE services;
may not be used after its expiry date;
will not be replaced if lost, unused, expired or misused; and
is limited to one RT Credit per eligible child.
4.5 If the price of the relevant Rugbytots or Rugbystars class exceeds HK$500, the parent or legal guardian is responsible for paying the outstanding balance directly to RT.
4.6 If the price of the relevant Rugbytots or Rugbystars class is less than HK$500, any unused portion of the RT Credit will be forfeited. No cash refund, residual credit, carry-forward amount or further discount will be given.
4.7 The complimentary RT trial class and RT Credit are separate elements of the Promotion. A child may only use the RT Credit in accordance with RT’s applicable redemption process.
5. RT Bookings and Policies
5.1 All bookings for RT trial classes, enrolments in Rugbytots or Rugbystars classes, RT Credit redemption, class scheduling, cancellation, postponement, rescheduling and payment arrangements must be made directly with RT.
5.2 Availability of RT trial classes, Rugbytots classes and Rugbystars classes is subject to RT’s acceptance, availability, capacity, age suitability, venue arrangements and operational requirements.
5.3 All RT classes, programmes and activities are subject to RT’s own terms and conditions, policies, health and safety procedures, class rules, cancellation procedures and other requirements.
5.4 All enquiries, complaints, requests and communications concerning RT, Rugbytots, Rugbystars, RT classes, RT Credit redemption or RT services must be directed to RT.
5.5 BE does not guarantee the availability of any particular RT class, programme, venue, date, time, coach or place.
6. Relationship Between BE and RT
6.1 RT is an independent entity and is not an affiliate, subsidiary, agent, employee, partner or representative of BE.
6.2 This Promotion is a joint promotional arrangement only. BE does not operate, manage, supervise, provide or control RT’s classes, programmes, coaches, personnel, venues, equipment, contractors, booking systems or services.
6.3 Nothing in these terms and conditions creates a partnership, joint venture, employment, agency or other legal relationship between BE and RT.
6.4 BE is not responsible for RT’s acceptance or rejection of any booking, the availability of classes, class content, coach selection, programme suitability, cancellations, rescheduling, refunds, RT Credit redemption or any other RT operational matter.
7. Liability
7.1 To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, BE shall not be liable for any claim, demand, loss, damage, injury, illness, accident, death, cost, expense or liability arising from or in connection with:
the booking, cancellation, rescheduling, postponement or non-availability of an RT class;
participation in, attendance at, or travel to or from, an RT class or related activity;
any act, omission, negligence, misconduct or breach by RT, its directors, employees, coaches, contractors, agents, venues or other third parties;
loss, theft of or damage to personal belongings or property during or in connection with an RT class; or
the use, non-use, rejection, expiry or inability to redeem the RT Credit.
7.2 The parent or legal guardian is responsible for ensuring that the participating child is medically fit to take part in RT activities and for disclosing any relevant medical condition, allergy, injury, disability, special educational need or other relevant matter directly to RT.
7.3 To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the parent or legal guardian agrees to indemnify and keep indemnified BE, its directors, officers, employees, agents and representatives against claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs and expenses arising out of or in connection with the participating child’s attendance at, participation in or conduct during an RT class, except to the extent caused by BE’s fraud, wilful misconduct or negligence.
7.4 Nothing in these terms and conditions excludes or limits any liability which cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under the laws of Hong Kong.
8. BE Policies
8.1 By enrolling with BE and participating in this Promotion, the parent or legal guardian agrees to comply with BE’s applicable policies, including:
8.2 Participation in the Promotion does not amend, replace or waive any existing BE enrolment agreement, BE policy, payment obligation or procedure.
9. General Terms
9.1 The Promotion may not be combined with any other offer, promotion, discount, voucher, credit or benefit unless BE and RT expressly agree otherwise.
9.2 BE and RT may verify eligibility and may refuse, cancel or withdraw the Promotion where they reasonably believe that a customer has provided inaccurate, incomplete, misleading or fraudulent information, or has otherwise breached these terms and conditions.
9.3 BE reserves the right to amend, suspend or terminate the Promotion, or amend these terms and conditions, at any time without prior notice, subject to applicable law.
9.4 In the event of any dispute relating to BE’s administration of the Promotion, BE reserves the right to make the final decision, which shall be binding to the extent permitted by law.
9.5 Any dispute relating to RT classes, RT bookings, RT Credit redemption, RT services, scheduling, cancellation or RT policies must be addressed directly with RT.
9.6 If there is any inconsistency or discrepancy between the English version and any Chinese version of these terms and conditions, the English version shall prevail.
9.7 These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.
