Summer Programme Policy

Make Up Policy

  1. In the event that a child is absent due to illness, they are permitted to make up the missed lesson(s), provided that all of the following conditions are met

    1. The student must have a sufficient make-up quota (refer to the next section for make-up quota details)

    2. The student must provide a valid medical certificate that covers the missed lesson(s)

    3. Only planned absences will qualify for make-up lessons. Parents must notify the centre via the enrolment form

  2. No make-up lesson will be provided for students who fail to attend their scheduled class for any reason, including due to illness

  3. Make-up classes cannot be rescheduled once the enrolment form has been submitted

  4. The centre will offer available make-up class options. These options are final, and the exact content of the missed lesson cannot be guaranteed

  5. Make-up classes are booked on a first-come, first-served basis

  6. Even if a make-up class is booked in advance, the student's place is not guaranteed. Make-up students are given second priority to students enrolled in that class

Make Up Quota

  1. RWI Foundation Levels: 2 lessons

  2. RWI (Green/Purple/Pink): 3 lessons

  3. RWI (Orange/Yellow/Blue/Grey): 4 lessons

  4. Weekly Summer Programme (3-day): None

  5. Weekly Summer Programme (5-day): 1 lesson

  6. Speak Right: None

  7. Cambridge YLE: 4 lessons

Promotion & Bonus

Early Bird Discount

  1. Course fees paid on or before 17th May are eligible for a $500 Early Bird Discount (each student may receive the Early Bird Discount once only, and it will be deducted from the first bill of enrolment)

  2. Course fees paid between 18th to 31st May are eligible for a $250 Early Bird Discount (each student may receive the Early Bird Discount once only, and it will be deducted from the first bill of enrolment)

  3. Weekly Summer Programme: an additional week discount of $150 is available during the Early Bird Discount period (on or before 31st May); and $100 discount is available from 18th May onwards enrollment;

  4. Course fees will be refunded in full or on a pro-rata basis if the course cannot be confirmed or is cancelled

Extra Bonus

Students may receive special bonuses by enrolling in one of the following combinations to earn credit coupons for September's Back to School use:

  1. Credit coupon up to $3,000: 7 weeks of Weekly Summer Program or 1 RWI + 4 weeks of Weekly Summer Programme

  2. Credit coupon up to $2,000: 5 weeks of Weekly Summer Program or 1 RWI + 3 weeks of Weekly Summer Programme

  3. Credit coupon up to $600: 3 weeks of Weekly Summer Program or 1 RWI + 1 week of Weekly Summer Programme

Terms of Use - Credit Coupons for Back to School September (applicable to tuition fees only)

  1. Credit coupons up to $3,000: maximum monthly usage of $1,200 (September of the year of issue), $400 (October-December), $300 (January-February of the following year). Unused balances are forfeited and cannot be carried forward.

  2. Credit coupons up to $2,000: maximum monthly usage of $1,000 (September of the year issued), $400 (October-November), $200 (December). Unused balances are forfeited and cannot be carried forward.

  3. Credit coupons up to $600: maximum monthly usage of $200 (September-November of the year of issue). Unused balances are forfeited and cannot be carried forward.

  4. Credit coupons for Back to School September cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotional offers.

Referral

  1. The Referral Programme is not applicable to the Summer Programme

General Terms

  1. Classes are only confirmed with sufficient enrolment. The centre will contact parents if the chosen class fails to open and will offer a full refund

  2. Due to the higher frequency of lessons per week, there is a likelihood that more than one teacher may teach per course/week. The centre endeavours to minimise teacher changes

  3. Photographs and/or videos of your child(ren) may be taken for promotional and educational purposes

  4. The student's place will only be confirmed once full payment has been received

  5. Babington will not be held liable for any loss, injury, or damage to personal property

  6. These terms and conditions may be amended without notice

  7. Maximum class size = 7 students (including make-up students)
