Speak Right is Babington's dedicated oral English programme — designed specifically to develop the speaking and listening skills that children need to communicate confidently in English.
The programme uses a variety of methods to help children become fluent and expressive speakers. These include theme-based lessons, role plays, storytelling, group discussion, pronunciation work and structured conversation activities.
Children who join Speak Right quickly develop a stronger, clearer and more natural English speaking voice — with the vocabulary, grammar and confidence to express themselves in any situation.

What sets us apart
Unlike general English programmes where speaking is just one of many skills, Speak Right puts oral communication at the centre of every lesson. Students spend the majority of every class actually speaking — not just listening or writing.

Speak Right is Babington's dedicated oral English programme — purpose-built to develop confident, clear and natural spoken English in young learners.
All Speak Right classes are delivered by native-level or bilingual teachers trained in communicative language teaching — ensuring top-quality spoken input for every student.
With a maximum of 6 students per class, every child gets meaningful speaking time in every lesson — not just the confident ones.
We create a warm, judgment-free classroom where children feel safe to make mistakes, take risks and develop their voice in English.
Parents and teachers consistently report rapid improvements in spoken confidence, pronunciation and vocabulary after just a few months in the programme.
Every lesson is designed to maximise student talking time. Children practise real-life conversations in a safe, encouraging environment.
Dedicated pronunciation drills help children speak clearly and naturally — reducing mother-tongue interference and building accent awareness.
New vocabulary is always taught in context, using stories, role plays and real-world scenarios that make words stick.
From Show & Tell to formal debates, children learn how to organise their thoughts and communicate them clearly and persuasively.
Rich, varied audio materials develop active listening — a critical skill that underpins all aspects of spoken English fluency.
Every new student receives a complimentary assessment to ensure they are placed in the level that best matches their current speaking ability.
